Gratitude and best wishes for Kyle Chan

At CYC, we are more than just an organization—we are a community built on dedication, passion, and the unwavering commitment to supporting children, youth, and families. With a mix of gratitude and bittersweet emotions, we share that Kyle Chan will be transitioning out of his role as Program Director.
Kyle has been an essential part of the CYC journey for more than 15 years, growing with us through various roles—Outreach Worker, Project Coordinator, Program Manager, and Employment Specialist—before stepping into leadership. His dedication, expertise, and deep care for the community have been instrumental in shaping the success of our health and wellness services.
As an immigrant himself, Kyle has dedicated his career to serving the AAPI community of San Francisco. He has worked tirelessly to ensure that behavioral health and mental health services are culturally responsive and accessible to those who need them most. Representation matters, and Kyle’s leadership has played a key role in creating a space where young people and families feel seen, heard, and supported.
While we are sad to see Kyle go, we are incredibly grateful for all that he has contributed—not just to CYC, but to the broader field of mental health and youth services. His passion for serving others will undoubtedly continue in his next chapter, and we know he will keep making a meaningful difference wherever he goes.
To the youth, parents, and community partners who have worked with Kyle, we invite you to join us in thanking him for his years of dedication. We wish him all the success and happiness in his future endeavors.
