July 14th CYC’s Chinatown on Wheels
CYC’s Chinatown on Wheels event on July 14th is also the groundbreaking event with for Willie Woo Woo Wong Playground.
The renovation at Willie “Woo Woo” Wong Playground is a project under the 2012 Clean and Safe Neighborhood Parks Bond. Named for local Chinese-American basketball star Willie “Woo Woo” Wong, the playground is an active community hub that serves everyone from tots to seniors. The renovation project will see significant improvements to the site’s athletic courts, children’s play areas and clubhouse, as well as the addition of a new fitness court complete with fitness equipment.
