Every year, CYC is honored to host the Waverly community events which celebrate and strengthen community ties in Chinatown, sponsored by the Office of Economic & Workforce Development/Invest in Neighborhoods. We’re ever-grateful for the community who comes out every year for these events and for our partners Chinatown Merchants Association and LionDanceMe.
Springtime Festival
Our first event every year is the Springtime Festival in April—a free, family-friendly event with arts and crafts, carnival games, and egg hunts.
Summer on Waverly
The fun continues with our June celebration, with games and activities the whole family can enjoy.
Craving Chinatown
Our annual, sold-out Craving Chinatown event features mouth-watering treats from more than 30 neighborhood eateries
Halloween Festival
The spooky season brings out kids old and young for our annual haunted house, pumpkin patch, and plenty of games.
