Youth leadership in action
CYC hosted an inspiring and successful 16th Annual API Youth Summit this past Saturday. Youth from CYC leadership development programs spent months preparing workshops on waste reduction, college and career success, LGBTQ+ inclusion, API identity and advocacy, public transportation, and youth mental health—all topics selected by, and important to, our city’s youth. More than 260 youth attended the full-day session.
Thank you so much to City College of San Francisco for hosting this year’s summit and also to Lion Dance Me, Linen Fang, and the Galileo K-Pop club for putting on spectacular performances.
