Celebrating Spring on Waverly
The weather was perfect on Saturday for the Springtime Festival. There were so many smiling faces enjoying the Easter-themed activities and games. The petting zoo with piglets, ducks, chickens, and baby goats was the most popular spot. Officers William Ma and Loren Chiu stopped by to shoot hoops with the kids and even taught them how to dunk. LionDanceMe brought their colorful lions and dragon out for high flying acts. LionDanceMe Juniors, their youngest dancers, made an adorable performance. Many thanks to the CYC youth volunteers who helped set up, staff, and break down the festival.
