Women’s History Month Celebration 2019
On March 19, the San Francisco Board of Supervisors City Hall, in partnership with the San Francisco Commission, San Francisco Department on the Status of Women, and the Friends of the Commission on the Status of Women, held Women’s History Month Celebration 2019 to honor Visionary Women: Champions of Peace and Nonviolence.
We know of no other person more deserving of being recognized for this award than our Executive Director, Sarah Wan. In the 22 years she has been with CYC, she has truly been a visionary and pioneer in the development of programs and services that give youth and families the motivation and opportunities to thrive, grow, and succeed.
Many thanks to Supervisor Sandra Lee Fewer for nominating Sarah for this honor.
