Elementary School Summer Program

 

CYC’s Elementary Summer Program will be located at a school site, and the address is Francis Scott Key Elementary, 1530 43rd Ave. The program is for children 6 to 11 years of age with daily structured activities. Academic activities focus on English and math in the morning with Chinese and educational games and projects twice a week. Outdoor and arts and crafts are also scheduled in afternoons with snacks and lunch included. Fieldtrips are once a week.

Program offers academic assistance as well as academic enriched activities. Program criteria must be 6-11 years of age with a fee of $450.00 for 6 weeks (June 23rd to August 1st) with an additional $75.00 each hour for early care (8-9 am) and/or after care (5-6 pm). There's a weekly fieldtrip every Friday. Priority given to past participatns if applications are recieved by April 25, 2008, thereafter fist come first serve basis to everyone.

 

Dates: 06/23/2008 - 08/01/2008, Monday through Friday

Times: 9am - 5pm

Cost: 9am – 5pm ($450) with extended hours 8am – 9am and/or 5pm – 6pm (an extra $75 each hour).

Middle School Summer Program

Rock the Summer 08’. CYC summer program offers structured weekly activities which includes English lessons, physical activities at the park, fieldtrips and prevention workshop topics. The workshop topics include substance abuse prevention, peer pressure, cultural awareness, violence prevention, goal setting, etc.

CYC Middle School Summer Program is under Asian Youth Prevention Services (AYPS). AYPS is funded by the Department of Public Health, City and County of San Francisco Community Behavioral Health Services.

 

Dates: 06/23/2008 - 07/25/2008, Monday through Friday

Times: 1:30pm - 5:30pm

Cost: Free (Except for Field Trips/Camping)

High School Summer Program

Come to explore the fun in Challenge Workshop where you can have the opportunities to engage in/outdoor adventures on projects. Get involved to stay in shape during Fitness Day. Be an artist and learn the basic skills and techniques in Design Arts and Photography Workshops. Enjoy the fun on weekly field trip.
